Questions that guide IPI's work with leaders:
- What leadership capacity does every member of your organizations need to excel? For example, know their strengths, recognize problems, basic problem-solving skills, interpersonal dynamics, courage to speak up at meetings, willingness to listen, etc.
- What leadership capacities are needed for mid-level managers in a world that requires teamwork, shared knowledge, learning and creativity? For example, know their strengths, facilitation skills, inquiry-based management skills, skills for dialogue, generating positivity, emotional intelligence, facilitating engagement, planning, goal setting, measuring and leading learning and innovation, ability to speak the language of those they are leading/supervising, awareness of integral dynamics, feedback-feedforward, etc.
- What new leadership skills do senior leaders require for dealing with complex, rapidly changing environments? For example, strategic thinking, strategic collaboration, influencing, facilitating engagement, clear communication, self awareness, relationship building, building external networks, etc.
