Description

All sectors of our society—healthcare, education, business, and government—are facing enormous challenges today - calling for the adoption, implementation and sustainability of tomorrow’s philosophy and infrastructure. The Information Age and continuous improvement provided us with philosophies and tools for working with data and standardizing processes; it created an economy that is based on the manipulation of information.  This Age is morphing and expanding into the Innovation Age where the norm is continuous change. We are being called to create new frames of mind and approaches that lead to human transformation, collaboration, and innovation as a way of working.

Join Innovation Partners International in June
Develop your ability to respond positively and effectively to continuous change and to build your capacity to engage your members in innovation. You will expand your understanding and ability to:

  • Engage members of the organization in collaborative innovation in response to continuous change and challenge.
  • Reframe problems so that efforts result in rapid and innovative solution-finding.
  • Facilitate small and large groups in strategic planning, systems change, and innovation.

Workshop information
i2 Inspired Innovation is designed to develop innovation expertise and skill in individuals such that they can have high impact as a member of a team, as a leader of programs, as a designer of innovative organizations, and as a facilitator of large scale innovation efforts across local, national and international boundaries.  The 5 essential elements of i2 - Inspired Innovation will be introduced and participants will have the opportunity to experience the power of these elements to expand collaborative and innovative capacity.

The Mobius Spiral reminds us that human transformation is a dynamic process that oscillates between our individual inner awareness and our outer connectedness, collaboration and impact: the greater our self-reflective capacity, the greater our capacity for collective intelligence.

Open Space Technology quickly enables diverse groups of people, as well as those who work together every day, to tap into the collective intelligence of the whole.  The principles, practices and self-organizing process leverages each person’s passion into a call for action.

World Café fosters collaborative dialogue in large groups by rotating participants through a series of small tables.  Authentic conversations encourage sharing knowledge, building on each other’s ideas, thinking outside of the box and creating connections.  This easy to use process quickly generates quality in-depth responses to challenges and opportunities.

Polarity Mapping is an elegantly simple tool designed by Barry Johnson, Ph.D. that leverages the best of apparent opposites resulting in win-win solutions.  Many challenges are not problems that can be solved with either/or solutions.  Rather, they are dilemmas or polarities to be managed.  Polarity mapping provides a complete picture of the interdependent opposing forces that often create gridlock.  Working with the upsides of both poles, predictions can be made for the types of change that will result from any strategy.
